尊敬的校长，老师们、同学们：我早已盼望在剑桥同老师、同学们见面，互相交流。现在正是金融危机的严冬季节，但看到你们，我仿佛看到了春天，看到了光明和未来。我坚信，知识的力量、年轻人的勇气，是可以改变人、国家和整个世界的命运的。
   到高等学府，我的心里总是充满敬意。这种心情是源于我对知识、对剑桥的老师、对学校的尊敬。剑桥举世闻名，培养出牛顿、达尔文、培根等许多杰出的科学家、思想家和诗人，为人类文明进步做出了重要贡献。今年是剑桥建校800周年，我谨致以热烈祝贺!

It is in the severe winter of the economic crisis, yet, upon seeing your faces, I foresee spring, light and future.    Whenever I set foot on an institution of higher learning, I feel awe in my heart. This feeling comes out of my respect for knowledge, for professors in Cambridge and for Cambridge itself. The world-renowned Cambridge University has nurtured countless outstanding scientists, thinkers and poets such as Newton, Darwin and Bacon, who made substantial contributions to the progress of mankind. This year marks the 800th anniversary of Cambridge: I would like to extend our warmest congratulations!
