The most powerful storm to hit the Philippines in a decade has left at least 65 people dead and millions of others homeless in the central part of the country. Typhoon Angela left a path of destruction Friday across a wide area that included the nation’s capital city Manila.  Most of those who died are said to have drowned. Civil Defense officials gave a preliminary damage estimate of 15 million dollars.
