    The modern era is said to be marked by rapid development and progress. Therefore some people believe competition should be laid as the main theme, leaving little room for cooperation. What is your opinion?

   You are to write in three parts: In the first part of your writing you should present your thesis statement. In the second part you should support the thesis statement with appropriate details. In the last part you should bring what you have written to a natural conclusion or a summary.
   Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness.

     Competition and cooperation has been the main trend in the development of human history. But to a certain extent, the former is overtly emphasized. I think in this fast developing world, the two are equally important. On the one hand, competition is very important in one’s life. The so-caned" jungle law" proposes that the fittest survives, which expands the essence of competition to a profound extent. In our modern society, so many well-educated and talented people strive to be outstanding and establish themselves. Thus one should compete for his survival and recognition.
     Otherwise, he will be thrown out of the tide of our time. On the other hand, however, cooperation plays a signification brings our world into a mobile stage. People all over the world get in touch with each other more easily than before. It is hard for a person who is isolated from the society to have a deep understanding of the world he lives in, let alone accomplishment in his career.
     The way for a person to achieve success is to keep a good balance between competition and cooperation. We cooperate with others to be more competitive, and we compete to get a better environment for cooperation. We must learn to be both cooperative and competitive in order to achieve success.
