M: Usually.
W: Don’t you have a checking account?
M: Opening a checking account is such a hassle. It took me two hours just to get a safe deposit box. I hate standing in lines.
W: Well, no one enjoys standing in line, but, Joe, opening a checking account is the easiest thing in the world.
M: Oh, I’m used to using cash for everything.
W: You’ll get used to checks soon enough. How do you pay your utility bills?
M: By money order.
W: What! Isn’t going to the post office or bank for a money order inconvenient? And don’t you have to stand in line for that? Besides, nowadays they have those automatic cash machines all around town.
M: Oh, I suppose you’re right. Carrying around all this cash is silly, isn’t it?
