M: Very well, thanks. Actually, I’m quite excited.
W: Oh?
M: I’ve been a big fan of Players magazine for many years now. I love what you do here.
W: Nice of you to say that. We’ve been working hard to try to keep the magazine as current and relevant as possible. So, which university did you graduate from?
M: I graduated from Yale University.
W: Can you tell me something about your education background?
M: (8) Yes. I majored in journalism, and received my Master Degree in art in 2008.
W: I noticed from your resume (9) that you’ve worked in a media company. What did your job consist of exactly?
M: (9)I was responsible for collecting the international news and writing the short reports.
W: Good. You’re bilingual, right?
M: Yes. Actually, technically Chinese is my mother tongue. My parents immigrated to Canada when I was seven years old. Later on I went to school in the United States and Europe as well.
W: Well, being bilingual is always a plus. We are thinking about expanding our operations and, of course, China is a huge market. Would you like to work in China?
M: Yes, Ms. Smith. (10) Working in China, I can use my good command of Chinese and English, and have a good chance to use what I have learnt.
