W: What happened, David? And why do you have that big stain on your shirt?
M:(1)The flight attendant was reaching to serve a drink to the man sitting next to me, and suddenly the plane hit some turbulence and she spilled it all over me.
W: That sounds terrible. Did the airline company offer to pay for a new shirt?
M: No. The flight attendant just gave me some soap and showed me where the lavatory was.
W: The airline companies have gotten so cheap these days! When I was your age they gave really good service.
M: To make matters worse, when I got to the airport(2)I accidentally went to the wrong terminal.
W: Oh no’ You had to run to make your flight. Did you make it on time?
M: Well,(2)I got to the gate on time, but then the ticket agent said the seats were not enough!
W: So what happened? Did they let you get on the plane?
M: No, they bumped me to the next flight. But that flight wasn’t until the next morning, so(2)I had to stay the night in a hotel.
W: You had a horrible experience. Did they compensate you in some way?
M: Well,(3)they gave me a voucher for a free flight.
W: Well, that’s not so bad! For one night of inconvenience, you can visit anywhere you want for free.
M: After this experience, I don’t think I want to fly anywhere again.
