After the reform and opening-up policy was introduced to China, many labor-intensive factories were built; more and more Chinese products are exported to countries all over the world. Meanwhile, the goods made in China are usually associated with poor quality and low price. To change the embarrassing status of Chinese products, " Originated in China" provides Chinese businesses a brighter path.
As the world is rapidly advancing towards the Information Age, we should know that knowledge is power and creativity is everything. The exporting factories in China always take orders from foreign countries and manufacture goods according to the existing designs. So our advantages are the cheaper labor resources and raw materials. Such advantages are not competitive at all in modern society. The poor condition of many Chinese factories in facing the economic crisis is the best example. On the contrary, the goods with originality could do well anytime. Originality means ’unique feature of your own. This feature is the everlasting appeal of any product and ensures the victory in the fierce competition.
As the saying goes, fire tries gold. The product with originality is the real gold which can establish its genuine brand and value in the market. This is the radical solution to Chinese manufacturing.

中国作为世界上最大的发展中国家,借助于强大的劳动力和丰富的资源优势在世界上打响了“中国制造”的品牌。品牌的塑造和产品品质的提高需要国人的长期努力,不能因为“中国制造”发展不成熟、没有得到大多数国家的认可等因素的阻挠就轻言放弃。中国应当吸取经验,努力将“中国制造”打造成优质品牌,否则,盲目转型不仅无益于已经建立的“中国制造”,而且还会影响今后其他品牌的建立,影响中国国家形象。
思路3:中国应顺应潮流,适时转变发展模式。
“中国制造”是我国正在经历并在将来相当长一段时间内需要坚持的产品发展模式,而“中国创造”是我国今后努力的目标和坚持的方向,两者之间是承前启后的关系。因此,我国应当在不断完善“中国制造”的基础上,适时转变发展模式,不断发展科技,以先进的技术支撑“中国创造”的推进,认真走好每一步,这才是强国之道。
