    Human beings have mixed feelings towards nature. On the one hand, we are greedy for resources and exploit them to the point of extinction. On the other hand, we feel pity for the endangered species and spare no effort to save them. As far as I am concerned, I think we should allow nature to make its own decision and do not intervene in the natural evolution of other species.
    First of all, nature has its intricate system to balance itself. Given the limited resources, some species might thrive at the expense of others. That is how nature maintains its balance and makes sure about the supply and demand of resources. We, human beings, are merely one part of the whole ecological system. If we intervene in the natural balance and save some species, we might inadvertently force other species into extinction. Secondly, human beings have enough problems to deal with and should not be distracted from their own issues. Famines, social inequality, and climate change are among the top concerns of all governments. That is why we should allocate more manpower and funds " to solve these pressing issues, instead of being so obsessive with the natural evolution.
    In conclusion, it is unrealistic to spare no effort to save every plant and animal species. We should let nature run its course and focus on our own problems.
