As there are various means to inspire employees’ passion and enthusiasm, for example, by offering them with higher salary, options on shares and paid leave, I can’t see the reason why promotion is the most powerful drive.
    In conclusion, promotion has limited effects in motivating people to work and other means should also be adopted.
