    Recently the promotion of two-child policy has sparked a heated discussion about whether it is a wise choice for moms to quit their jobs to take care of their children. Some in favor of this choice believe stay-at-home mothers’ full-time devotion is necessary to fulfill the pre-kindergarten kids’ need and the new mothers are not able to concentrate on their work when they leave their babies with others. Others against die choice hold die view mat when quitting the job for kids, mothers would lose money, respect and even their own lives. For me I would prefer mothers not staying at home. The reasons are as follows.
    Firstly, working mothers can set better examples for their children, for they are more confident in themselves when they play successful roles both as mothers and as office workers. Secondly, stay-at-home mothers are often ignored by other family members. Most of men have no income and have to depend on their husbands. This would often lead to family conflicts or even family crisis. Thirdly, the life of full time mothers is quite monotonous, as they have very little social life. Being isolated, they are likely to suffer from serious psychological problems.
    In a word, I assume that mothers should not quit their jobs to look after the kids.
