答案 Dear Mr. O’Hare,
    I saw your advertisement for a family to spend a month on a desert island and I would like to suggest my own family. There are six persons in my family--my parents, myself (I am 22 years old ), my two sisters (12 and 16), and my brother (8). We came from Iceland. My father is a doctor and my mother a sports teacher. I study economical courses in the university, and my brother and sisters are still studying at school.
    I think we will really enjoy spending a month on our own, as we all get on very well with each other. We aren’t the kind of persons which watch TV all day or need to be entertained all time. We are a sociable and sympathetic family who is capable of taking care of ourselves.
    Last year we spent in the mountains camping by ourselves, which was useful experience for being on a desert island. As my father is a doctor he can deal with some emergencies that may happen. My mother is very interested in sports and we are all very healthy and in a good condition. I attended lessons in fishing two years ago and I have good knowledge of which plants are good eating and which poisonous.
