        The recent years witnessed a depressing social phenomenon in many countries—a great number of college students become unemployed after graduation.This fact not only causes pressure for the graduates, but also lays burden on the society.
        There are mainly two possible reasons accounting for this problem.Firstly, the expansion of universities provides chances for more students to receive higher education, but the job market cannot develop at the same speed.The situation is even worse with those students who uniformly choose the "hot" majors such as economics and accounting.
Secondly, some students think too highly of themselves so that they choose not to work at all if they are not satisfied with the salary or working environment of the job.
        To solve this problem, the government should try to develop the economy in order to create more job opportunities.College authorities should take the job market into consideration when enrolling students.Besides, students also should cherish every job opportunity.
