M: I’ m not sure. It depends on how long the interview lasts. Oh, dear, I hope things go OK. I know I can do the job. It’ s just getting that across to them.

W: We’ ve just heard that you’ ve been offered a film contract in the USA. Does this mean that you will be leading a very different life from the one you’ re leading at the moment?
M: Well, there’ s no doubt that I’ m going to have to cut down on my work in the theatre. This is a film contract after all! But as for the other things—I’ m not anticipating too many changes.
W: What about your family? How do you think they’ 11 adapt to life in the States?
M: Actually, they’ re no strangers to life there because we have already spent a year or so living there. They were younger, of course, but they still remember everything.
