   Almost everyone knows the importance of reading books. Francis Bacon demonstrates the benefits of reading different types of books and tells the way to read. For me, reading books brings a lot to us.
   On one hand, reading broadens one’ s horizon. People live in a very limited environment, which leads to the limitation of knowledge. Through reading books, people have the possibility of knowing a broader world. Consequently, they are equipped with critical thinking.
   One the other hand, reading shapes one’ s personality. Sometimes, it is easy to tell people who read from people who do not. The reason is that the former is shaped into a certain personality. With the nurture of"food" in the book, one changes from body to soul. They become polite, tolerant, kind-hearted and caring. All consist of a good personality.
   To conclude, reading is extensively encouraged. Our country holds the activity of "National Reading" as Premier Li puts it in the government work report in 2015. Here I appeal for reading every day!
