Dear Sir,
    I have found that many people in my department feel anxious about the proposed merger(合并) with ABC Company. I do not feel that the newsletter put out last week helped to ease the fears of the other employees. I believe that it might be beneficial(有益的) to meet the issue by holding a meeting where questions can be put forth and answers can be provided.
    Employees and management have different opinions about the merger. They appear to be growing and will present serious problems. If this merger fails to come true, the employees may keep their current feelings and lose their confidence in the organization.
    I know that there are many problems in putting forward this subject in a meeting and these must be weighed against the present alternative. I do feel, however, that the suggestion is worth some consideration(考虑).
