   Fresh water seems to be inexhaustible. Every day, as soon as the tap is tamed on, water will run endlessly. Besides, we can get fresh water in rivers and wells. So, some people don’t treasure water very much.
   Recently, however, mankind has been considering the problem of water shortage seriously. Firstly, with the increase in the world’s population, the demand for water is growing steadily. Secondly, the rapid development of industry and agriculture calls for an increasing amount of water. To make things worse, some factories are polluting our fresh water resources all over the world.
   In a word, it is necessary for people to take actions. Most important of all, we should take measures to keep our water resources under good care. All the resources we have discovered must be protected from pollution. Furthermore, the waste of water should be regarded as a sort of crime. Only when we take good care of our water supply can it serve us continuously.
