    It is shown in the graph that from 2005 to 2009, the ratio of online shopping to total shopping in City X has increased drastically from 2% to 12%.
    There are several reasons for the increase of online shopping. Firstly, online shopping is convenient. Just by browsing some web pages and clicking the mouse, you can buy various goods without stepping out of the house. Secondly, buying online saves money. It is estimated that the prices of online goods are usually 12% lower than those of the goods in the shops because, apparently, running an online store saves rent, workforce, and other expenses. Thirdly, online shopping is safe. You do not need to pay for the goods until they are delivered to your house, checked and proved to be exactly what you want; thus both your money and goods are protected.
    With so many benefits of online shopping, no wonder more and more people are taking to it. I am totally in favor of shopping online, hoping that one day everything can be bought this way.
