    Balzac, a famous French writer once said, "There is no such thing as a great talent without great willpower. " It means that the willpower to succeed is more important than the talent.
    To many people, to be successful requires a lot of things, such as diligence, skill, talent, and even luck. However, the determination to succeed triumphs over all, because if you don’t possess the willpower to excel at something, your talent may wither away. Many of my acquaintances achieve their goals not only because they are hard-working or exceptionally talented, but because they have set their mind to accomplish what they desire. Likewise, I have borne witness to many others who were equally talented or qualified, but didn’t become who they deserve to be simply because they overlooked their ability and lacked the determination to try to make changes in their life.
    Therefore, determination is a crucial factor that determines people’s success. A person with a stronger will is more likely to realize his life goals.
