    Due to the growing pace of life, we often find ourselves overwhelmed by multiple tasks. We have a lot of trouble arranging them in terms of priority. As our time and energy are limited, to concentrate on a single task at a time seems quite important. As the remark puts it, "The shortest way to do many things is to do only one thing at a time. "
    In fact, whatever we do, it is beneficial for us to focus on one thing single-mindedly. On the one hand, focusing on one thing at a time plays an important role in improving our work efficiency. The more we are absorbed in our work, the more productive we’ll be. On the other hand, if we split our attention and engage in multiple activities at a time, we can’t fully throw ourselves into any one, and in turn it will take longer time to accomplish what we plan to do.
    To sum up, focusing on one thing at a time is of great importance. So once we begin a task, what we need to do is to concentrate on it without distracting thoughts.
