    When it comes to the question of overseas study, it varies from people to people. Some people believe that it is very good for students’ development. Some other people, however, think that overseas study may be bad for students’ development.
    The former group of people holds that overseas study can assist students’ development. Studying abroad can improve students’ abilities of taking care of themselves. Meanwhile, being educated in a background of culture that is completely different from ours, students can learn much more knowledge that people hardly know when they stay or study at homeland. The latter group of people believes that overseas study is bad for students to develop themselves because most of the students who go abroad are too young to take care of themselves. Worst of all, some students don’t study as hard as their parents expect. Instead, they just waste money abroad because they lack self-discipline.
    But in my opinion, there are more advantages than disadvantages. When students study in a different culture background, they can see and experience different social customs which they can not get from books. And if properly dealing with it, they can improve their ability in many aspects by learning how to look after themselves. So I believe that overseas study is good for students.
