Dear friends,
    Good morning.  Welcome to Shanghai.  Please allow me to introduce myself.  I am Li Ming from China Youth Travel Agency. I feel greatly honored to be your tourist guide.
    Our schedule for today’s trip is as follows. In the morning, we will go to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. In the afternoon, I will show you around the Yu Yuan Garden, which is located in the middle of the old city and dates back to about 400 years ago.
    Well, ladies and gentlemen, we are now arriving at our first spot, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Standing on the Huangpu River, the 468-meter-tall tower ranks first in Asia in height. It has 11 spheres arranged in order of their sizes like a string of pearls. Most of the floors of the lower sphere are equipped with modern recreational facilities, where tourists can enjoy themselves. The observation deck of the upper sphere is 263 meters high, where visitors can get a bird’s eye view of the city. There we will also have an excellent view of a row of buildings of Western architectures across the river.
    Now you can have a stopover here and enjoy your visit. Please be free to turn to me when necessary. We will meet back here at 11 o’clock. Thank you.
