People are also still interested because of the discovery of where the Titanic lies at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. 1986, Robert Ballard and a group of scientists【S3】______the resting place of the Titanic【S4】______12,000 feet, or 3,647 meters, of water in north Atlantic.
Since Ballard’s discovery of the resting place of the Titanic, a number of scientific and commercial【S5】______have visited the site, and more than 8,000 artifacts (史前古器) have been taken from the【S6】______ ship. These artifacts include jewelry, dishes and glasses, and many other things that【S7】______with the ship.
