    Since 2002, "Moving China" Award Ceremony has been held annually to honor outstanding people across the country.
    The winning people come from all walks of life, including those who have done arduous work in maintaining social justice, bettering people’s living environment, or promoting traditional virtues of Chinese people.
    The ceremony is of great significance, as far as I am concerned. For one thing, it will confirm our belief that our kindness, devotion, and contribution are constantly valued by our compatriots. Thus we feel encouraged to adhere to principles in the increasingly commercialized society. For another, by making widely known these people and their deeds, the ceremony will inspire more people to follow their lead. All in all, there is a good reason for this award ceremony to carry on.
