    There is no denying that it has become a prevailing trend to wrap the goods with fashionable boxes or bags. It is common to see that clothes are put in a well-designed bags in the marketplaces, from which we can notice that the manufacturers spend certain energy in package design.
    Many reasons can account for this phenomenon. For one thing, by wrapping their products with appealing materials, the manufacturers try to catch customer’s attention, arouse their curiosity and stimulate their purchasing desire so as to earn more economic gains. For another thing, a considerable number of customers believe that the more exquisite the package looks, the superior the quality will be.
    In my view, some effective measures should be taken immediately. Some policies should be made to restrict the excessive packaging and the customers should be aware that packaging does not equal to quality. Only in these ways can we curb this trend and save resources.
