    The publication of college rankings each year would draw increasing attention from people. Some scholars argue that the result of rankings is not objective and one-sided. As for me, we should take several rankings into consideration to evaluate a college’s specific strength instead of only relying on one ranking.
    The reasons are as follows. Firstly, to decide whether college rankings give a college a fair evaluation, it is crucial to look at the methodology of the ranking system. Secondly, college rankings are likely to be manipulated, which inevitably reduces their authority and reliability. Many universities have been invited to "corporate" with some ranking organizations. Thirdly, the rankings can objectively reflect the strength of a certain university, but it can not tell the whole story of a college.
    In a word, as one ranking only focuses on certain aspects of higher education, we have to compare several ranking systems to find out the whole story of a university.
