    Some students prefer several short vacations throughout the year since they can have a rest now and then. But others would like to have one long vacation each year, because they want to manage abundant time freely. From my point of view, it is advisable for the students to have several short vacations.
    Among countless factors, there are three major reasons as follows. In the first place, short vacations set the students free from the burdensome study every now and then, which is beneficial for both of their physical and mental health. In the second place, short vacations are favorable to their study. Owing to their limited self-educated ability and knowledge, most students cannot study systematically or regularly if they leave school for a long time. In the third place, short vacations will allow the students to review and summarize the knowledge on their own.
    To sum up, students should have several short vacations throughout the year instead of having a long vacation each year, which is good for their health and study.
