     (1) Traditional culture is very important to one’s growth and development. (2) However, what we are worried about is that nowadays more and more people, especially young people, lose interests in our traditional culture.
     (3) There are mainly two reasons contributing to this phenomenon. The first is that we are more and more exposed to western culture with the reinforcement of globalization. Younger generations are so greatly accustomed to western culture that they know little about our own traditional one. The second is the rapid development of modern technology. People enjoy the convenience and fun brought by all kinds of modern techniques, causing traditional culture neglected.
     (4) However, Chinese traditional culture is our most important national treasure and it is something we should attach great importance to. Therefore, as for college students, we should fully realize the importance of traditional culture. On the one hand, we should try to learn and study our traditional culture while enjoying our modern technology. On the other hand, we should cherish and protect our traditional culture and try to raise others’ awareness of the importance of our traditional culture, and thus make more people enjoy it and benefit from it.
