答案     The picture depicts a phenomenon that exists widely among parents and children: generation gap. Nowadays, the problem of generation gap is a serious issue for many parents and their children, which makes both of them suffer.
    Why does this problem occur? The rapid changes in all social aspects in modern society are the most important reason for the existence of this gap. The factors that form parents’ philosophies are much different from those that shape the children’s, and thus a generation gap appears. Another reason is that parents do not have much time to be together with their children, for parents are busy with their work while children focus on their study. Thus, the generation gap broadens for lack of communication.
    To narrow this generation gap, parents should strive to know the thoughts and needs of their children and spend more time with them, while children should also care for and communicate with their parents.
