   The picture above depicts an election in process. Some people are sitting in an auditorium and listening to the speech given by a candidate. One of the voters is thinking: " His tie is too blue. I’m going to vote for the other guy. "
   This phenomenon can easily be found anywhere in our daily life. Nowadays, with more interviewers putting emphasis on the appearances of the applicants, a great majority of people believe that nothing is more important than appearance. But I beg to differ. Because the appearances do not reflect what is inside the person. And what is in his mind and heart can’t be known by us easily. Furthermore, it is extremely superficial to judge someone by their appearances and that’s what prevent us from getting to know a person’s nature.
   As an old saying goes, "Never judge a book by its cover. " One’s appearances may reflect his interest, but it isn’t the symbol of his quality. We should never judge people merely by their appearances.
