    "I trust you", a man says, who is falling backward. At the same time, six men standing up are ready to catch him. This picture aims at informing us that we should trust each other. However in modern times, as the development of the society, the degree of trust among individuals has decreased dramatically.
    What we can’t ignore is the negative influences of the distrust among individuals. For one thing, it poses a serious challenge to national economy. For example, after the incident of Sanlu Poisonous Powdered Milk, a great number of people started to buy foreign brands. For another, it goes against the social stability and unity, such as the high divorce rate caused by distrust between couples.
    It is high time that we call on the efforts from all sides to deal with this problem properly. The government should make efforts to establish and perfect the credit and supervision system. And the parents should seize every chance to teach their children the importance of trust between individuals.
