    It is well-known that helping others is a virtue, hut we should say "No" in the following three cases. Firstly , We should say "No" when what we are asked to do is illegal or immoral. Secondly , we should say "No" when what we are asked to do is a violation of our principle. Thirdly, we should say "No" when what we are asked to do is beyond our ability.
    Many examples can be found to prove that it is not easy to say "No". Take our reply to others’ requests as a typical example. In most cases, people prefer to say "Yes" for fear of hurting others. Furthermore , people usually hold that refusal means inability.
    It goes without saying that you may fail to keep your promise and lose your friend’s trust in the end if you promise to help when you should say "No". What’s more , even if you have succeeded in fulfilling your friend’s will, you may feel depressed because you may have put too much money and energy into helping your friend. In conclusion , when you should say "No", do not hesitate to do so.
