    Here are two main reasons why we should be confident. First, to be confident is the foundation of individual success. In reality, to achieve even the smallest goal, or to take on daily duties and responsibilities, we have to have self-confidence. For example, when we go for a job interview, if our body language gives any sign of uncertainty, the interviewer may pick up that and give the opportunity to someone else. Second, a confident man is less likely to feel fearful or angry on misfortunes. The more confident we are, the less disappointed we will feel upon being rejected.
    In conclusion, self-confidence will enable us to persevere when we are suffering setbacks, while lack of confidence will definitely have negative effects on our social relationships, career prospects, and moods.
