    The reform of shortening the golden-week and spreading holidays out to other traditional Chinese festivals such as Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival has provoked heated debates nationwide . Some people think that the government should reform the golden week and celebrate traditional Chinese festivals, whereas others hold opposite opinions, arguing that they prefer observing foreign festivals like Christmas.
