Well, we can always find examples in our everyday life. Agnes Gauxha Bojaxhiu, fondly referred to as Mother Teresa, was a Nobel Prize winner in 1979 for her humanitarian work among the poor around the world, but especially in Calcutta, India.
    Born in Albania, Mother Teresa, left the comforts of her homeland to champion the cause of the needy in India. Her efforts paid off and she was able to initiate the Missionaries of Charity Order who have ever since selflessly served the poor and the homeless. Often, Mother Teresa left the comforts of her convent to bring food, medications, and hope to the hungry and dying, to the abandoned orphan children of the slums of Calcutta.
    She reached out not only to the poor in India but also to those around the world who were in need of shelter and medical clinics.
    Mother Teresa’s convictions helped her to reach out to the hungry and oppressed. At an interview in 1974, she said, "I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper’s wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?" Mother Teresa died peacefully in the service of humanity.
