很高兴今天有机会与外国记者见面。由于我是一个民营企业家，我想谈一谈对中国民营企业发展前景的看法。首先我想指出的是，民营企业已成为中国经济的重要组成部分。整个中国经济55％以上的GDP是我们民营经济创造的，整个国家60％以上的税收是我们民营经济提供的，整个中国80％以上的就业是民营经济创造的，而且2012年、2013年中国技术创新的85％来自民营企业。
   中国政府提出要全面深化改革，激发市场活力，这给我们民营企业的发展开创了广阔天地。同时，中国政府也强调，要给民营企业权利平等、机会平等、规则平等，这也为我们民营企业的发展营造了良好的法制环境。
   那么，中国民营企业的发展目标是什么呢?我认为，中国民营企业的目标就是要走出去，占领国际市场。因为，无论你是中国的国企还是民企，只要你的企业发展到一定程度，那就必须成为国际化公司。否则，这个企业发展到一定阶段就发展不上去了。我们必须融入全球经济，要融入国际市场竞争，只有这样才能真正提高中国民营企业的竞争力。
   中国已是世界第二大经济体，出口已位居世界第一。但中国的自身资源，特别是人均资源，在全球范围内来讲，是偏少的。中国经济要继续发展，就必须要利用好国际资源，各种生产要素资源。同时，也要利用其他国家的技术，人力资源；我们要学会利用国际资本，用国际资本作为发展中国经济的资本力量。这是我们民营企业走出去所面临的机遇和挑战。只要我们面对挑战，抓住机遇，中国的民营企业不仅能够实现跨越式发展，而且能够成为推动中国经济持续发展的重要发动机。所以，我对中国民营企业的发展充满信心。

答案    I am glad to have the opportunity to meet foreign reporters today. As I am a private businessman, I’d like to talk about my views on the development prospects of private businesses in China. First, private businesses have become an important component of the Chinese economy, contributing to over 55 percent of China’s GDP, over 60 percent of the country’s tax revenue and over 80 percent of China’s jobs. What is more, 85 percent of China’s technical innovations in 2012 and 2013 came from private businesses.
   The Chinese government has called for deepening reform in all areas and injecting vitality to the market, which has created great space for the development of private businesses. The Chinese government has also made it clear that private businesses should enjoy equal rights, equal opportunities and equal rules. This has created a good legal environment for the development of private businesses.
   Now, what is the goal for the development of private businesses in China? In my view, private businesses in China should go global and enter the international market. This is because whether you are a state-owned company or a private company, you have to turn yourself into an international company once you have reached a certain level of development. Otherwise, you cannot grow further. We must become part of the global economy and compete in the international market. This is the only way for Chinese private businesses to enhance their competitiveness.
   China is already the second-largest economy and the largest exporter in the world. But China’s own resources, particularly in per capita terms, are well below the world’s average. To sustain economic growth, China must make better use of international resources and production factors. China should also use technologies and human resources of other countries. We should learn to use international capital to finance China’s economic development. Our private businesses face both opportunities and challenges when going global. As long as we meet challenges and seize opportunities, we will not only achieve leapfrog development, but also turn ourselves into an important engine for China’s sustained growth. Therefore, I am very confident of the future of private businesses in China.
