    " Honesty is the best policy". This is the most important education we have been receiving through our childhood and early adulthood. But since a certain day, maybe one day after you have entered the business world, no one mentions it any more. And we gradullay get used to dishonesty of others, and of our own. No, it should not be this way. Our society demands honesty. Honesty should still be the best policy in business.
    Honesty is the essence of our morality. It is the basis of true friendship, happy marriage, and there is no difference in business. If there is the question "When is the right time to be honest and open in the business dealing? The answer is:always. Because dishonesty is but a bad habit. If we cheat a little on one occation, there will be a second time, thus developing into an everyday practice. Business world is risky, but if we hold honesty business ethics, we have a code to live by. Then why honesty?
    Honesty repays those who are honest. What is the ultimate goal for a business? To make profits. What are the most important elements in making profits? Loyal employees and reputation. These can not be achieved through deception because deception is short-lived. Remmeber that a person can not deceive all the people all the time on all the things? Only when we are honest to our employees, can we develop a workplace culture where people communicate openly and honestly about important issues, creating an environment that values and uses feedback to implement business strategy to make profits. Only when we are honest to our clients and business partners, can we build good reputation that attracts more people to do business with us. If we are not honest to the employees and the customers, they will leave, with the money they bring to us.
    We have to admit that we are born honest and honesty is still alive. It is just oppressed when we enter the dazzling business world, when we get the wrong conception that cheating can help to make big fortune, or when we see how deception work its way up, temporarily. But don’t you think when being honest, we can spend every penny everyday with a feeling of security and peace? Therefore, do not oppress the honesty in us, set it free. And honesty, in turn, sets us free.
