    With the labels, we can know, if we need to, the amount that we drink. If we have the labels then doctors can know if the amount that we drink is dangerous; with this we can protect our bodies from sugar defects, brain defects, and blood clots. If you disagree, then think about all the people who die because of sugar. I’m not saying that sodas and candies are bad; I am saying that having sodas and candies every day can harm you.

    People should know what they are drinking when they are drinking sodas! I do not get it! When you purchase a soda, you should know that there is a lot of sugar in it. In the end, I just do not believe these "warnings" are going to stop any one from drinking their favorite soda anyway. Although the right to know is considered to be a basic human right, tremendous bottles of sugary beverages have been poured into the mouth of the younger generation, even toddlers, without their knowledge nor permission, which would cause devastating effects on their growth, either in an accelerated or a postponed way. Meanwhile, commercials overwhelmingly misrepresent sugary beverages by employing deceptive devices, like trick photography of pop stars and false testimonials from celebrities, to implant the groundless correlation between sugary beverages and the fashion. Only warning labels can unveil the mask of the false link and cultivate a rational consumption habit. What is more, traditionally, sugar is perceived as the symbol of happiness in the era of scarcity, however, a recent study has shown that over-consumption of sugary foods will endanger the victims’ health, resulting in tooth decay, obesity and cardiovascular disease. Therefore, warning labels on sugary drinks help people to raise awareness of sugar intake, which eventually help people to have a balanced diet.
    Undeniably, sugar can be as soothing as smoking to pressure and tense. Likewise, the fearful consequence of a high intake of sugar shall be paid as much attention as to nicotine. Hence, warning labels should be posted on sugary beverages.
