问题    Nowadays people have much easier access to the Internet. Things become quite different: many jobs can be done much more efficiently and many ways of entertainment are created. On the other hand... there are also increasing worries about the negative effects of the Internet, especially on young students. Do the benefits of the Internet for students outweigh the potential harm, or it is the other way round?
   Write on ANSWER SHEET TWO a composition of about 200 words on the following topic:
   The Effects of the Internet on Students
   You are to write in three parts:
   In the first part, state your position.
   In the second part, support your views with one or two reasons.
   In the last part, bring what you have written to a natural conclusion or a summary.

答案                           The Effects of the Internet on Students
     It seems that life has become easier and more interesting with the appearance of the Internet. On the Internet, many jobs can be done much more efficiently and many ways of entertainment are created. On the other hand, concerns about the effects of the Internet on students are going. Thought it cannot be denied that there are positive ones, much harm can be done to the students.
     First, many students like to play games on the Internet. Some of them even indulge themselves in it and play truant just to play games. This obviously does no good to their study.
     Second, most students are not old or wise enough to tell right from wrong. Driven by curiosity, some of them may enter websites which are not suitable for them.
     Last but not least, when using the Internet, students only have to type into the computer. When they make mistakes, the computer reminds them and makes corrections for them. As a result, when the students are required to write on paper, they ignore the mistakes easily, which surely is no good habit at all.
     Based on the reasons mentioned above, I do believe that parents and teachers should guide the students in their use of the Internet so as to minimize its negative effects.
