With 10 weeks to go before the International Olympic Committee decides on the venue of the 2012 Olympic Games, the organizers of London’s bid has withdrawn a package of incentives aimed at improving the city’s chances of hosting them. The package included help with training and transport costs for athletes.  The London bid team says it has withdrawn the incentives after the IOC warned that the selection process should not be turned into a bidding war.
