It is in those kinds of music where one can acquire great skill without formal training【C11】______ blacks have excelled—popular music【C12】______ classical music. This is understandable, 【C13】______ that most blacks have not had either the money【C14】______ the leisure for formal study. Blacks have also played a large role in the development of jazz.
