问题     Some students want to attend a university in their home country, while others desire to study abroad. Which is a better way to get education? Give specific reasons.

    Recently, the question of overseas study has become the major concern by the media and the parents of the students as well. Despite the various opposition, I am here firmly supportive of studying abroad, for the following reasons.
    Firstly, language is certainly an advantage. It’s obvious that if you could live abroad for some period of time, your oral English will improve dramatically as well as your written one. The importance of proficient English in our Chinese society is out of question and you can of course have an edge on others in almost whatever you do.
    Secondly, if you later want to further your study abroad, it’s beneficial for you to choose to have higher education at a foreign university at the first place. This provides you with more opportunities to be admitted than the graduates at home: you are more accustomed to the education system abroad and more informative of the latest news.
    At last, you can enhance your ability of independent living through studying abroad, which is helpful for you to adapt to the competitive society in the future.
    In short, to study abroad may benefit you in the long run.
