Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen Friday accused the UN leadership of trying to dictate the terms of a Khmer Rouge tribunal. In scathing language, the outspoken Cambodian leader said his government would hold Khmer Rouge trials on its own if necessary, and bluntly told the United Nations to stay out of Cambodian affairs.
    Mr. Hun Sen’s anger which sparked by a statement issued by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Through a spokesman, Mr. Annan said no trials can start until Cambodia signs and ratifies an informal memorandum of understanding between Cambodia and the United Nations, and that any Cambodian law on the tribunal must conform to that memorandum.
