W: Are extreme sports popular in your country?
M: Not really. Only a relatively small number of people do them.
W: Why is that?
M: (4)Many people enjoy watching them on TV. There’s a very popular TV program each week, which is about extreme sports and the people who participate in them.
W: What sports are usually featured on the program?
M: (5)Bungee jumping, sky diving, and cliff diving are the most common, but there are other kinds of sports, such as motor racing and skateboarding.
W: (6)I think that the people who do the skateboarding are very skillful. It must take a lot of practice to stay on the skateboard while doing so many jumps and turns.
M: The kids who do it are so young. Well, it’s better for them to skateboard than sitting at home watching TV all day.
W: Would you like to try any extreme sports?
M: I’m going bungee jumping on Saturday. I’m very nervous about it, but my friends convince me to give it a try.
W: I’m sure you’ll be safe. The organizers have lots of safety procedures. Can I come and watch?
M: I guess so. You might even be tempted to do a bungee jump.
W: I might. It’s something I’ve often thought about doing.
