     A recent survey indicates that nearly half of young students have experienced the so-called cyber romance or have shown great interest in it. It is now even a trend or fashion. Someone even indulged himself or herself in it without realizing the potential dangers or perils.
     In my point of view, there are some reasons for it. In the first place, due to some personal limitations, it is hard to find ideal love in the real world, and they insist on perfect one. In the second place, pressure from the society has deprived people, especially young people, of many chances of communication; they cannot afford enough time to foster emotion. As a result, they turn to Internet, the virtual world, for their dream. However, cyber love is far from perfect. In fact, it is full of dangers and risks. There are a lot of cheatings on the Net. Therefore, what we really get is not what we expect to be. Worst of all, it has been reported that cyber love contributes to many criminal cases. Meanwhile, they idle away hours online, with their study or research being out of favor.
     All in all, cyber romance is a form of fantasy. It is quite illusive rather than realistic. So we should develop a rational attitude towards it to avoid any undesirable consequence. We should cherish some practically beautiful things rather than those castle in the air.
