答案                             The Wounded
We are all part of the walking wounded. On the battlefield of life, we have all been hit. Wounds do not heal; do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Like a festering sore or dull pain, they remain safely in place, forever.
At the moment that the wound is inflicted, it will forever remain a part of the victim’s psyche. It is in his soul; it is an actual physical ache in the heart; it burdens the mind. It never leaves.
The wounds can sometimes come from someone’s body language or from what he may say to us or about us to others. Perhaps it is in the flicker of an eye, a body stance, or the words spoken in anger, hatred and jealousy. Judgment calls wound; stereotypes wound; ignorance wounds. Even the heartfelt apology may not heal or even soften the wound. It may even make matters worse.
