答案                                 How to Be on Time
Have you ever been in a cafe, waiting for someone to show up? Twenty minutes later, however, he or she still doesn’t come into view. Or are you that person who can never get anywhere on time? Well, here are two tips to help you meet your friends on time, or make it to important appointments without looking like a slacker.
Time management, of course, is key to punctuality. Knowing when to do certain activities by planning ahead can make a big difference as to whether you are late or not. For example, if you are constantly late for work because you have too many things to deal with in the morning (wash your face, brush your teeth, make your lunch, etc. ), think about which things could be done the night before and then do them accordingly, such as preparing your lunch and keeping it in the fridge, or having your outfit ready.     Another easy way to be on time is to advance your clock a few minutes, maybe even as much as fifteen or twenty. After doing this, however, you have to force yourself to be ready by a certain time, even though you know it is ahead of time. If you can develop even that little bit of self-control, you can be much more punctual.
It’s better to be early than to be late. And forget that saying "Better late than never". In today’s world, time is everything, and being on time is becoming a new form of being late, not to mention being late.
