    It is reported that more and more graduates from Chinese universities and colleges are expected to join the army. As far as I am concerned, this policy is beneficial to both college graduates and the army’s future construction.
    For one thing, it is beneficial to college graduates, especially those who are eager to find a job in this competitive society which is deeply influenced by the economic recession. First, it is an alternative way to relieve the pressure of job-hunting due to economic downturn and extra supply of graduates. Second, the government pays for university education of those servicemen, which will save college graduates from poor families a lot of money for future use. Finally, college graduates will have more chances of getting promoted or receiving knowledge for future development.
    For another, the move to recruit more college graduates has been regarded as a way to sharpen Chinese army’s high-tech edge, which will be helpful for Chinese army to uplift the quality of servicemen so as to serve our nation better in the modern society.
    Taking the above mentioned points into consideration, we may reasonably draw a conclusion that college graduates joining the army is a beneficial policy.
