Migrating some businesses to rural areas will make our cities a better place to live in. If businesses relocate their factories to rural areas, these places can be used to build roads, parks, hospitals and other public facilities.
The pressure of urban areas will be alleviated greatly. If the companies they work for were moved to suburban areas, many employees would choose to follow their companies. Then, the population in urban areas will be smaller and subsequently there will be fewer vehicles and housing buyers.
NO
Although moving some business to rural areas can ease traffic problems, it will increase the cost of transportation for those who live in the remote areas.
Admittedly, environmental deterioration in rural areas may arise from such a migration. When companies are encouraged to move to rural areas, their contamination will also be carried to rural areas, too. The ecosystem in rural areas is quite fragile.
