The diamond was then cut into nine smaller jewels, which are now part of the British crown jewels. These jewels【D8】______to the British government and are kept in the Tower of London.

Between 1885 and 1917, the Russian jeweller Peter Carl Faberge made a number of decorated Easter eggs for the tsars of Russia and their families.
