    The two European nations, Sweden and Switzerland, have often been confused for each other among the Chinese. The former is known for its furniture and cars: the latter is famous for chocolate , cheese and watches. The problem largely stems from the fact that both nations’ names are written similarly in Chinese—"Ruidian" and "Ruishi" , which begin with the same Chinese character "Rui" , according to the Swedish Consul General(总领事)in China. In an effort to put an end to the mix-up, the Swedish and Swiss consulates(领事馆)in Shanghai have launched a competition on the website, asking Chinese people to come up with funny ways to help differentiate the two countries.
